Fortuna's Wheel Of Mischief
This is a Burning Man costume design I'd been thinking about for a year. Might take as long to make out of natural (non-melting) fabrics. (And that long to build some pecks.) My first drawing has it mostly nailed, though I think the helmut needs a little more design, and I might try to make streamline some of the design elements to be in the same flavour. The ears will make great unique poi. Everything is in layers for radical temperatures and sun protection. (Long cape not shown.) There are rings and pockets (mostly zipped) everywhere, including the pads to stash whatever, tie or clip whatever, and a back pack can still be worn. Haven't thought much about the feet. [2004]
Unsure how to describe Burning Man to friends and family?
